Variety Is The Spice Of Life




I try to do something different each time I go to the gym. If I do the weights, I always try to vary my reps, go slow on some, try the weights in a different order, use free weights instead of machines. The same is true with the cardio experience. I use the bicycle and then move to the treadmill, over to the rower, and back to the mat.I find the variety makes me work more minutes and the tv stations are different in different areas. I love the financial news. Swimming is fab as is tennis.

  • Very good advice. I teach fitness classes 5 days a week. Each day is different, but I've noticed the routines in each day were getting too routine so I started looking up new exercises and ways to change it up so my classes don't get bored. I'm finding though though that the exercises aren't really much of a challenge for me anymore so you have inspired me to do something different for myself in the gym. Thank you! - by NVR2LATE2BFIT
