Don'T Overthink Your Workout!

My secret to working out is not to overthink my workout! When I start to do this, I will come up with every excuse not to workout. Eg: I'm too tired, not enough time, I don't feel like it, I can't. I have learned to just get moving and jump right into some kind of exercise. I feel great afterwards and don't have to put myself through the guilt of not reaching my daily workout goals.
Happy success to everyone in their quest for health and wellbeing! emoticon

  • I did this today and felt SO tempted to skip working out. Instead of lounging about, I just jumped right into strength training and walking because I didn't feel like bouncing around today. I didn't burn half as much as I usually do, but I did something and that's what matters. - by SUNRISESUNSET
  • I do the same thing. I literally role out of bed, grab a water and do my recumbent bike for 5 miles. I usually follow that up with resistant bands, wall push ups and maybe even a walk with Leslie Sanson. I feel much better, I know I've done it and it's out of the way and I don't have to dread the 'end' of the day workout. Donna - by DGFOWLER

I completely agree! I think the same goes for meals too--if you think too much about what you're going to eat, you come up with all those 'tastier' but less healthy options! - by BETTER_LUCK
