If somehow you have strayed and have been nibbling a bit of this and/or that--NOW is the time to say "WHOA!!" The big holidays have passed and "they say" that whatever you are doing on New Year as the clock strikes 12 is how you'll spend your year. That makes NOw a good time to get back on track and your focus will have you on a healthy eating track as the new year becomes this year.
It can be hard to get back on track, especially if you have a lot of left overs around. Find some others to share them with--they will be very thankful and you will be relieved to not need to resist those foods. Also, it will put you in a position to resume your exercise/ activity as well!!

I don't get "paid" to volunteer but I get quite a few "perks". I get a "free" lunch (yes I know-no such thing as a "free lunch") when I volunteer at the hospital. I received a membership to the historical society because I volunteer there. Plus there's the volunteer recognition lunches, etc. each year.

For those of you like myself who have children...don't just help yourself lose weight, help your child stay healthy and active. Do exercises that your child can also participate in at home such as dancing, walking, jumping jacks, etc. I enjoy the quality time with my child while still accomplishing my exercise goals. Help yourself while helping your children 30
