Over the years I've collected many measuring spoons and cups. A great place to store them is in with food products. I keep a measuring spoon in my flour bowl, in the Argo box, measuring cup in the cereal box and in with the oatmeal, etc. Now I can never be too lazy to measure out the exact amount I need.

When measuring something sticky,like peanut butter, first spray a cooking spray like PAM in the measuring cup and then pour in your ingredient. See how easy it comes out of the cup. You get two benefits 1) you get everything to east that you have coming to you, and 2) it makes for easier cleaning!

When making my own snack mix, I bring a measuring cup(s) to the bulk food store. This method ensures I have just the right amount for the recipe and limits over purchasing. Also makes it easy to calculate calories. Go home, mix the already measured amounts together and portion into small snack bags.
