Eat Asparagus




A natural diuretic, lowers cholosterol and gives your kidney's a good cleaning. It's good for your heart too.Some people don't enjoy the taste of Asparagus or the smell, but it's low in calories and is certainly better than taking meds.

  • Agree 100%! Love Asparagus, boiled, grilled, whatever.

    It may be a "get used to" food because of the taste/smell, but I liked it even as a kid.

    My folks grew fresh Asparagus and I'd go cut a couple of stalks for a snack when playing made my stomach wonder what was wrong. - by POPEYETHETURTLE

  • We planted a patch 3 years ago and are so looking forward to some home grown asparagus this year. It also grows wild around here but the deer usually beat us to it!
