Secrets of Success

During The Holidays,Try "Sample-Taste Sizing" For Portions Of Sweets!

Christmas and Thanksgiving have always been my downfall & undoing of my wt.loss IN THE PAST,but NOT THIS YEAR! and the reason I have not gained a pound during Thanksgiving and throughout the Christmas season{date:12/23/10},is due to my SAMPLE-TASTING! Let me assure you I have been to 2 cookie exchanges, 2 Christmas parties and had the neighbors and I exchange cookies and been on the receiving"gifts" end of candy and cookies galore~~so I HAVE BEEN put to the test! But I have LEARNED a LESSON...

More Information:

this holiday season---just SAMPLE -TASTE! I'm referring to the SIZE OF SAMPLES given out in stores like Sam's Club,Henry's,Fresh N'Easy~~small SAMPLES of the food they want you to taste so you will buy! This has aided me in the buffets I have seen! I eat a little of each.

I like this. I think someone at work may have the same idea. ALl of the treats with the exception of the juice and hot chocolate were all bite size pieces. This a great idea. I will have to take this one on. I won't be seeing my family for the Holidays until after New Year's and my mom loves to feed us all. I will just have a toddler size portion. - by LARIESHA
  • I too, have held my own and even lost a pound over the Holidays. My tradition for the past 40 years has been to gift friends and neighbors with gifts of cookies and candies, all homemade, This year I went through 14 pounds of butter! For the past 2 years I have been cutting the bar cookies into bite size pieces. I tasted every one of the 17 different recipes I made, and you are so right...a "sample size" is perfect! Helps not only me, but all the recipients as well. - by MARYELLEN301
