emoticon Tried walking your dog and he doesn't look as princely as the pooch in the emoticon? Try using a dog harness instead of a collar. My dear little Asher is a darling on his leash, but Gabby girl drags me and stops hard and will not move. What a terror! But give her a harness instead of a collar and walking is so much more fun now. We're back to some nice exercise when the weather is fine!

  • my dog is horrid to walk!!! Even on with the harness she still has to stop and smell everything! It doesnt feel like exercise at all a 30min walk turns into 3 hours, its not worth taking the dog..... - by NAY7496
  • Wish I could just get a collar on my dog can not imagine trying to get a harness on her-lol! She is not a small dog either, she is a collie Shepard mix and the strangest dog ever-but we love her all the same!! Wish I had a neighbor dog to borrow for walks, because I would feel a lot better about walking in the dark if I had a dog at my side! - by JASI27

I borrow my neighbor's dog for walks and really feel bad for him because the whole time we're out that collar is choking him as he lunges ahead. I wish everyone would either use a muzzle or harness; it just seems so much kinder! - by SIRIRADHA
