One of our fellow Sparkers commented on my 1st posting for kitty litter and added a suggestion for a workout.
1. When she shops at WalMart or another store she goes straight to the Kitty litter and puts ten 10# boxes in her cart. Pushing an extra 100 pounds has helped her lose weight. Before checking out she returns to the Cat litter section and 're-stocks' what she has borrowed. 2. Place Cat litter in an open container and put in basement to get rid of that musty smell. 3. Cat litter
makes an effective odor remover in other places as well. Someone once stored some onions in our picnic cooler. When we discovered it, the cooler had a strong smell of onion that couldn't be washed out. We put Cat litter in an old pair of panty hose. The smell was gone the next day.

I have a paper shredder which, when full, I empty and recycle and wondered one day; what the kitties might do if I 'substituted' all this 'good' paper for their kitty litter! They loved it! They seem to use the box more now than ever and there are no 'clumping' signs left on their little feet and I saved money by not buying commercial litter and my kitties now also, have something to read while in the bathroom!240
1. Keep a freezer bag on the bicycle you take to work or for pleasure. This can be thrown down to dissuade dogs from attacking you if they approach you while riding. It can also help you to get out of icy spots that you see ahead by throwing some down before riding on those surfaces. 2. Prevent fires: Pour a layer of kitty litter in the bottom of your barbecue grill; this also creates a better draft for proper cooking. 3. Deodorize ashtrays: Just put some kitty litter in the bottom. 4, Store
clothing, linens, books, papers, etc. with 1/2 -1 cup of kitty litter tied up in a sock to prevent mustiness and mold. 5. Evict moles: Moles hate the smell of used kitty litter. Pour some into the entrance of one of their tunnels and watch the exodus! 6. Use kitty litter to clean up pet accidents.
