The most important step to take is to lower your carbohydrate intake. Omega 3 fatty acids and Vitamin C, combined with a low carbohydrate diet, can dramatically reduce your triglyceride levels. Omega 3 fatty acids can help with cholesterol as well. Avoid butter, and sugar baked goods and high fat foods. Take 1,000 MG of Vitamin C 2X per day.

Make sure you get your triglyceride levels checked as part of your next blood test and save your heart!

    Just back from a Dr appointment revealing results of my blood work. It was high in triglycerides and cholesterol. I will try your suggestion along with working on my diet. Thanks, Meg
