Fruits are carbohydrates, when eaten alone, can sometimes elevate blood sugar levels. Protein acts as a blood sugar stabilizer by balancing the carbohydrates so always have a carb and a protein together and try to have a low cal snack before bedtime so there is no overnight spike.     I have noticed the morning number creeping back up. did most everything I know I hate to go needles.
