1. Egg shells are basically calcium and carbon; they make great indoor plant food. Get a pitcher & put your cleaned crushed egg shells in it. Fill the container with tepid water and leave it where it doesn’t get direct sun. Let sit for 2 days. Water houseplants with solution. It is a nutrient-packed meal for your houseplants, and free! 2. Put leftover, crushed egg shells in a coffee pot or other glass container with stain residue. Fill the container about 1/3 full with cold water. Put a tight
lid on the container, then shake and swirl vigorously & the stain will disappear. 3. Pour the leftover egg shells down your food grinder and run for one minute using COLD water. The broken egg shells will help keep your kitchen pipes clean.

When peeling a hard boiled egg crack the large end of the egg where the air pocket is. Then slip a spoon in between the shell and the egg with the concave side toward the egg. The spoon goes all around the egg and your fingers don't get poked with sharp pieces of egg shell.
