While you are making your shopping list, go through your coupons to either use it before it expires or match your purchases with your coupons. Then staple the stack of coupons on the back side of your list. You face them such that you can flip back and forth from your list to your coupons. Carefully remove the staple at the cashier. no more shuffling while you shop.

I use a binder with baseball card holders and dividers for each section of the store(condiments, frozen, dairy, breakfast etc.)I use coupon databases- some are free- to locate the sale and coupon match ups-- can save tons of money that way. The first four months that I clipped I saved over 700 dollars.

this idea is really good . I have coupons and forget to use them . If i started out and thought what i was going to buy then get the coupons out and use them that would save me a hugh amouont of money . stop and think .

When saving coupons I keep restaraunt coupons in a separate container from my grocery coupons so they don't get mixed up.
I have recently started to do my shopping at Save-A-Lot. The savings have helped me stay within my food budget. As an example: Bananas are 3lbs for $1.00. Of course you have to know the prices because not everything is a bargain.
