Always have 2 ounces of protein such as meat, turkey, poltry, fish, tuna, an egg, cheese or greek yogurt to each meal to stabilize blood will feel great even if you are not pre-diabetic or diabetic......Barley is rich in magnesium and balances blood glucose also. Make some Barley Soup. emoticon

  • milk is added carbohydrates, (12 per serving) so if in low glucose it having protein in it also, will not bring it up fast enough.
