It costs nothing to be kind and friendly with everyone. From the custodian on up, there are no unimportant jobs or unimportant people. You never know when you are going to need the kindness and support of others.
Sometimes it's easy for people on their way up the ladder to look down on those around them, but remember that all are important and it takes a team to do any job successfully, no one can do it alone. And remember someday, you may be the one on the way down.

I find that I get tense neck and shoulder muscles when I do cardio. The other day I noticed that when I get to that point where I just have to grin and bear it through the uncomfortable part, I look up at the ceiling. So I put a sticky note on teh spot I look at that says, "pay attention to what your body is doing!".
The instant reminder of what I am doing subconciously is just the kind of feedback I need to keep myself on track!
Sometimes loosing weight with someone else and having a friendly competition can be helpful.
For myself, I find that if I have a weight loss buddy who likes a little fun, friendly competition, it can go a long way in assisting me to reach my goals. When I want to give, knowing that I am trying to beat someone's weigh in, keeps me motivated and dedicated to the goals I have set.
