Communication.. An Open Mind Agrees To Disagree

This Sparked Me!

At times I have had an open mind but felt threatened when someone else thought differently. Good relationships require the non-threatening exchange of ideas and feelings. When I listen to someoneís opinions and feelings, without being defensive, I learn and grow. It opens my mind to understanding more, with the world and within myself. Iím at the stage when I truly value PEACE and HARMONY Öeven if I have to kill to get it. emoticon

MORE INFORMATION:
Some people thrive on debates or competition, and WINNING the Ďargumentí, but in reality they LOSE, and donít even know it. When I discuss things with the aim of HEARING the other person, and acknowledging their side, it usually expands our understanding and mutual respect, a WIN/WIN victory

My best friend and I have this kind of relationship! We always have to agree to disagree because we don't see anything in the same light! lol It always makes for interesting conversation!
