If you find yourself waiting for someone or something for more than half a minute, use the time! Even if you're self-conscious, you can benefit from some secret exercise that no-one knows you're doing, unless they look closely. If I'm waiting somewhere, I try to find a step (stairs, doorway, curb etc) and quietly step up and down. It's amazing how the heart-rate jumps up, and you start to burn calories in a very short time! Hey, the train (or the kids) can be late and it's really OK....

oh my sometimes i feel like doing exercise, like walking in place; however did not because i didn't want to be looked at as being goofy. will not let that stop me ever again. i will march in place...lol
