If you have a lot to lose like me (82 pounds when I started), that number can seem daunting. Set small goals like 5% of your start weight, 5 pounds, etc. Be sure to reward yourself when reaching these incremental goals. It's motivating to tick off those small goals on the way to the ultimate goal.
