I also like having oatmeal cereal for breakfast everyday, but I make it a double serving with cinnamon and sometimes raisins in it for extra oomph.

I use whole grain oatmeal: 1/2 c. oatmeal, 3/4 c. water, raisins (1 or 2 T). Cook 2 min. in the microwave (oatmeal likes to overflow, so use a large bowl). When done, add 1/4 c. milk and 1 or 2 tsp. honey. A small banana or apple mid-morning, and I'm not starved the rest of the day.
OATMEAL really will lower your bad cholesterol. Honestly, my husband and I have been eating oatmeal every day and both of us have seen a drop in our LDL cholesterol. (the L is for lousy)

I start every day with breakfast! Most mornings I have Quaker Oatmeal - High Fiber and a 1/2 cup orange juice. The oatmeal gives me almost 1/2 of the fiber I need for the day and keeps me full all morning. Sometimes I sprinkle on some blueberries and then I've fulfilled 2 fruit requirements as well! A great start to my day 4
