Just give it a try! Inexpensive but super effective. I use the face lotion -- diminished the dryness and fine lines in just a few days -- and "Hired Hand Cream" -- my usually dry hands are doing great this winter, and many others. I gave Porter's products for Christmas to my friends, and they all loved them. www.porterslotion.com
One of the best ways to stay healthy is to keep your hands scrupulously clean. It's too easy to touch something germ-covered, and then touch your eyes, nose or mouth. Next thing you know, you've caught a cold or worse.
Keep lots of hand cream around too, so that all the washing doesn't dry out your skin.
Completely relax in the bath with deep breathing and a book
Simple breathing exercises in the bath helps me to unwind after a long day. I draw a nice warm bath, light some candles, add some epsom salts for my exercised muscles, and just close my eyes and focus on my breath. You could call it meditation if that doesn't stress you out as to whether you are doing it right. My main goal is just to let go of all my thoughts and just "be in the bath." After I feel completely relaxed, I dry my hands off on a washcloth and read a book until I'm ready to get out.
Make sure to put the book under a dry hand towel by the side of the bath so it doesn't get wet until you are ready for it. Also, if you have them, keep epsom salts, candles, and some fun face masks or deep conditioner by the bath for some spa enhancements.
