Secrets of Success

Grabbing A Cart From The Parking Lot And Parking Farther Away..

One thing I have strived to do is to park my vehicle in a parking spot farther away from the store. Also grabbing a shopping cart or two from the parking lot to take back into the store or use myself is a not only a nice gesture for the store clerks but it makes me work just a little bit harder. For me personally, every bit of exercise helps!! emoticon

I also tend to park farther away from the store. One for the exercise but I also don't have the patience to drive around looking for a closer spot. - by MLEHTO
  • I always park away from the store. It also saves on dents and dings.

@ KLAM7812 - Yep, me too. It reminds me of the days of going to the commissary at Ft. Lewis or McChord AFB. Sometimes I had to sit in the parking lot behind people sitting in the middle of the lane waiting for someone to show up to move their car so they could have their parking slot. That was the height of lunacy. - by RUTHEY01

I findd it comical that people will circle the parking lot numerous times to find a parking space 20 feet closer to the door but then will walk close to a mile while shopping - by KLAM7812
