Personally for me to stay motivated after getting on the scale and being up a half a pound or pound is by telling my boyfriend. His reassurance that is most likely water weight (too much salt from supper the night before) or that my body is building muscle. I always feel so much better because he is my biggest supporter/cheerleader. So find someone that makes you feel amazing no matter what size to be your cheerleader.104
Forgive yourself for slip-ups and use that positive self-talk! Remind yourself of what's important about your goals and be your own best cheerleader (remember, cheerleaders don't lie down on the field and cry when their team is behind, they tell everyone to FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!!)
You are happy, then those around you will be too! I have come to realize I am just as important as my kids and my husband. My needs and wants need to be meet just as much as theirs. So put you first for a change, losing the weight and being healthy makes a happier you. Baby steps lead to larger steps. Love yourself! Be your own cheerleader!
