I start each day with a number of fresh fruits and vegetables I'm supposed to eat before I leave work at the end of the day. Then I'm paying attention to something positive--what I can eat--instead of what I can't. And, if I'm a good girl and eat what I bring to work, I'm full!

If you find yourself consuming too many calories in the evening by snacking, don't try to just stop snacking completely. Form a game plan. Think of something sensible that is also a treat and save it to eat before bedtime. Soon you will find that you have broken that cycle of snacking!
