I love the SP food manager but the workout area is always a little off no matter what web site you go to due to there being soooo many ways to exercise. I bought the Jullian Michaels wii work out game and she kicks my butt all the time and of course they do not have the calories on this site so I use a watch that has a heart monitor and it tells me how many cals I lost. I then put it as a note under the exercise part of the website.
MORE INFORMATION:
By having a calorie counting watch/monitor thing, you can really get in tune with your normal calorie burning self. My husband bought me one for christmas about 3 years ago to help me get started in managing my weight and its awesome!! Worth the $300 he spent. They are not all that much.

Board Error: My Mistake! Will rephrase!!
A couple of days ago I posted about watching labels for caloric intake per serving, and stated that Nestea Iced Tea had a whopping 210 calories per serving. SALTYCHOCOLATE was gracious enough to correct me. I had looked at the Daily Value, not the Calorie count per serving. The actual (correct) calorie count is 80 per serving. I apologize for the error. Will look more carefully next time19839
MORE INFORMATION:
We should still be aware of what is on food labels, and look out for calories per serving, sodium, fats, etc. Sometimes, what you may think is one serving may be two or three.
Typically a plateau for me happens when life gets so busy I quit paying attention, neglect counting calories and don't exercise intentionally. During this time, I often don't eat ENOUGH for my body to burn additional calories and so it holds tight to the calories I already have. This is when I do what I can to survive the stress and then hop back on the wagon, counting my calories and working out intentionally. As I begin to pay attention and shake it up a bit, the pounds start shedding off.

If you are sitting around watching TV, get on the ground and STRETCH while you watch, so at least you are getting SOMETHING done while you're wasting time :D
