We have a small family (mostly out of towners) so there are few presents under the tree. To fix that, I wrap empty boxes and decorate them with ribbons and bows or used decorative boxes. It makes 'under the tree' more festive.

This time of year is magical & it rubs off to you as you go about your day. The smiling faces, children's laughter, all the pretty lights & decorations. Christmas shows carolers, work dinners & just plain fun. Hoping all will experience baking with your children, decorating the tree & loving what season is. We get closer to people, do other things from our heart, let's try to take that magical feeling throughout the year. I will have a wonderful Christmas with family & friends. 442252
EATING HEALTHIER......RAW FOODS, FRESH FOODS, AS WELL AS ORGANIC! NO PROCESSED!
EATING HEALTHIER TAKES MAKING GOOD, HEALTHIER CHOICES FOR YOUR BODY. SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT ALL THE TREES GOD MADE INTO THE EARTH WERE NOT JUST FOR DECORATION. WHAT WAS ON THE TREES OR VINES WAS REAL NUTRITION. BEFORE YOU EAT SOMETHING FROM A BOX REMIND YOURSELF OF THE NUTRITION FRESH FOODS HAVE!
Planning and Buying for Christmas & Winter Holidays Now
I save money on Christmas by approaching it two ways. I use a Christmas account so that I have money for gifts and decorations, etc in November. I also start looking for sales now and buying the things that I can in advance. I buy and address my Christmas cards in the fall. I buy the Christmas stamps when they arrive in the PO. By making purchases early, it saves time and money later. Now is also time to start the craft projects! 446
I also start now to buy some extra baking ingredients, like an extra bag of sugar or flour or chocolate. These things will easily last in the pantry until I need them and it's much easier to add an item to the shopping list now than to make a big trip in November or December to buy all at once.
