I chopped up an avacado today and added it to my salad for lunch. Afterwards I added the avacado to my tracker and realized it has 250 cal and 22.5g fat! Not what I was expecting from a vegetable. Note to self: check nutritional info of new food before consuming emoticon

  • I think I know what you mean: you probably would have only had a part of the avocado instead of all of it. Knowledge and portion control are two of our biggest allies in our fight to become the healthiest persons we can be.
We can do this! Let's go, Spark people!

  • It may be high in fat, but it is a healthy fat. The avocado is very healthy for you and it is good to work it into your diet. Like anything else, just don't overdo it. emoticon - by SONNYG1
