Drink a glass upon rising in the morning, 1 at 9:00, 1 at 11, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm thats it. Feel free to drink another glass if you want. So if you miss any of the times you know u are behind.

    Excellent tip! I start too late (beause I linger over a couple of cups of coffee in the AM), and then am stuck drowning in water all night, which means trips to the bathroom interrupting sleep, or sometimes so much water keeps me awake at night.

    Actually for this to work, the first glass in the morning should be 16 ounces (2 cups), then the remaining 6 cups would add up to 8 cups.
