I used to let my most wiggly kids with special needs use it at their desks. I'm retired and my stability ball is back home. Never thought of it for myself. Great idea!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!

I go this too. The ball actually makes a pretty comfortable chair.

A stability ball at my desk would leave me trying to hit the keyboard above my head! But I have seen special stability-ball chairs - a little out of my budget, though...

I can't do that; but thank you for sharing a great idea.

Mine is a little low for my desk so don't use it all the time - but for 15 minutes several times a day it's great!

I've done this also... but I think mine is too low for my desk too. I do like sitting on it though... really kind of comfortable!

I have one. I think it's too low for my desk, but might work for watching tv. I'd probably use it more if I brought it up from the basement!

Core work
I bought a BOSU at Costco. I leave it in our family room and if we find we are sitting too long watching TV in the evening I get up during commercials and do some exercises on the BOSU to work the core muscles.
When I am at my desk and on my computer I no longer use my chair....instead on the advise of my orthopedic surgeon.....I balance on my exercise ball.322 Actually good for working the core muscles without realizing it.
When you're running, or walking, or...whatever exercise you're doing, suck in your gut & keep it sucked in. Helps tone your mid-section & prevent injury, like back strain. Improves your posture & works your core. Try it next time you walk to the water cooler
