I have found, that I am more flexible confident and stronger since I have started practicing Praise moves, the christan alternative to Yoga. In my water aerobics class I was able to balance on one leg, and stretch much more than I used to!

Working nights and getting home late, I sometimes find it hard to sleep. I've taken to putting my yoga mat out next to my bed before I go to work. When I get home, instead of sitting on the couch watching TV until I'm tired enough to sleep, I get in a quick yoga session. Stretches me out, relaxes me after a long night, and gets me ready to sleep.
My favorite Yoga DVD's to do are PM Yoga and Power Yoga for Flexibility, both available from Gaiam, featuring Rodney Yee.
Hot Yoga gets your heart rate up, while increasing your flexibility, and peace of mind. It's great for burning calories. I'm always floating afterward. Many studios have a karma class for a reduced fee that goes to charity, and many studios also let you trade cleaning duties for classes. 401
Don't try to scrub your yoga mat with soap and water. It is a large sponge, and you will never get the soap out. Don't try to go to a hot yoga class with a yoga mat that still has soap in it. You will find your feet sliding out from under you. 211
