I do not have a lot of money to buy the clear vacuum seal containers for the pantry so in the meantime I am using ziplock bags for pastas after I open the box. It takes up less space and I can see the pasta. I transfer cereals into gallon storage bags and put them back in the box. The cereal stays fresher longer this way.

Organizing Temporary Storage Of Recyclables During the Day...
I recycle as you probably do ,too! A method I found helpful for organizing the recyclables during the day without having to go out near the recyclable container CONSTANTLY is to have a plastic bag HANGING IN THE PANTRY CLOSET out of the way ,but across from the trash can so a person can clean up the kitchen and recycle at the same time! I then take the bag out each night to the large recyclable container and dump the contents and throw the plastic bag in the trash...
cutting the ends of the handles and tying the bag in a tight knot so as to not catch any animal that might go snooping in the city dump and get caught in the plastic bag.
No more foods getting lost on the high shelf or back of the fridge!
I keep my pantry and fridge organized by putting like foods in plastic organization bins (found at your favorite discount department store for $2-4 a bin). In the fridge, I used organizers for kitchen drawers for the small jars and such.
Bonus! Tired of your silverwear organizer sliding to the back of the drawer? Put a little sticky tack on the bottom and it will stay put!
