To sweat the small things. Really!! I almost lost a friend in a car accident, to think that we didn't speak over (whatever) blows my mind. Take each day to tell the ones you love that you love them and appreciate them. I did... and will continue to :)

Whenever I'm feeling blue or someone in particular in my family has been giving me alot of stress lately. I'll grab the photo album and check out those cute baby pictures of them,and as they have grown, and just maybe I'll see something I totally forgot about. Have that special memory with that person and be so grateful they are in my lives and how lucky I am to have shared that moment with them. Life is short--live, laugh and love!!
I have been keeping a second bathroom scales in the kitchen. Every time I think I want a snack I step on the scales. I bought a second hand, retro-looking scales at the thrift store and it looks comical in the kitchen, but I like it that way. Life's too short. It's working for me so far.

Maybe some Sparkers might want to keep the scales in the dining room or living room. I cook so most of my food is in the kitchen. Just a thought.
