Savings Self-Talk

This Sparked Me!

This may sound strange, but I do a lot of self-talk to help me come to good decisions about my fitness. So lately I've found myself doing the same thing with my money. An example is that this morning, I wanted to justify going out to breakfast (a bad habit!), so I immediately challenged myself to think about the AMOUNT that it costs to go out versus the amount I would save if I cooked. I have the time, I have the food already here, and actually - I prefer my own cooking!

MORE INFORMATION:
Plus, I also can assure that the way things are cooked and the ingredients are in line with what I'm trying to do to eat healthy. AND (a HUGE argument) my son is overweight and making this choice is a healthier choice for him and a better example. I'm staying in!

Better control of your nutrition, better control of your finances equals better control of your life. What a great suggestion

The self talk that I give myself is "The name of my game is to keep my money in my pockey and out of theirs." It's cheaper and healthier
