Getting 6 to 8 hours of sleep a night is good for the body, but it may not be enjoyable if your pillow is old and needs to be replaced. If you can bend your pillow in half and it does not return to form, then it is time to buy a new one. Choose a pillow to suit your sleep position (side or back). I write the date on all my pillows so I always know when I purchased them. It is a good idea to use pillow protectors if you have allergies and to help protect from bed bugs.
