Try not to think 30, 40, 50 or even 100lbs. Concentrate on one pound at a time. It's important to have a long term goal, but it can also be very overwhelming if you have a long way to go. If you concentrate on losing just one pound, it will add up faster than you can imagine!

On a piece of poster board, write a countdown from your current weight to your goal weight, one pound at a time. Each time you lose a pound, gross that number off. It really motivates me to see how many I've crossed out.
SPIT IT OUT!! That is what my Dr used to always tell me. He said if it tastes that good it must be bad for you.. and all these years following Weigh Watchers they always said "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels" SO TRUE!
So keep on doing it as I say--- One bite, one day, one pound at a time! Keep on sparking.224
I you struggle with taking weight off; get a picture of how you would like to look. Then put that picture somewhere so you can be seen. Each week give yourself a goal of 1-2 lbs. and look at that picture. Then tell yourself that you will look like this. You will get to your goal one day at a time; one pound at a time!!
