Secrets of Success

I Am Lonely On This Site

I have been on this site for 3 years and I check in a few times a week. I used to check every day but all of my spark friends and forums are inactive.

Would love some new Spark friends. emoticon

  • I felt the same way so I discouraged myself to the point of not coming on spark for two months. I have started again, but instead of feeling lonely because no spark friends contact me I am going to focus on me and my weight loss journey. I agree that sometime you have to delete and get new friends. - by AMBIEROB
  • Why not make new friends. Check in everyday and make join some groups. This is a tool for losing weight. However; you have to interact with the outside world as well at a gym or exercise class or at church and work as well. - by ANJOYLA
  • I can be a friend if you like. - by CATIEMARIE
  • It's hard, but sometimes you have to delete Sparkfriends. There are some people I'll NEVER delete because they are part of my history (even though it's like they've disappeared), otherwise it's time to delete friends and make new ones. Hopefully your old friends will rejoin someday and you'll cross paths again. Do the same with the sparkteams- if the leader has gone/become inactive, that's a bad sign.

I find that smaller forums I closer, so maybe other weight loss forums would aid your progress. - by SUNRISESUNSET
  • Reach out and make new friends! Be active, blog, join the community chats. - by TWOTIMESS
  • Try joining other more active forums :) - by THE_BUNNYO
