Once you go down a size, pack up your larger clothes and donate them to charity or bring them to a resale shop or give them away...whatever! If you do not have a fall back plan of bigger clothes you know you cannot gain the weight back without buying new larger sized clothes. If that doesn't keep you motivated to stay thin, nothing will. Who wants to buy BIGGER clothes?

Taking a chance...getting rid of the fat clothes for winter. Envisioning the weight loss now. I don't know if I will pay for it later. One way or another.
As you lose weight, get rid of the "fat clothes," the clothes that have become too big on you, and never turn back.

Make a pact with yourself never to buy bigger clothes again. Unless you simply want to keep one item for nice "proof" photos of your former self. This is a huge motivating factor for me to keep my weight where it is, and not allow myself to backtrack. It's my "no-turning-back" policy
GET RID OF YOUR "FAT" CLOTHES! Since the beginning of my journey I've gotten rid of my clothes as they've gotten too big. I started gaining weight back and didn't really notice until my pants and tops started getting tighter and tighter.
Had I kept my bigger clothes I probably would've just kept gaining. I don't have the money to just throw away on new clothes every time I gain a bit of weight so I have no choice but to get back on track and keep losing.
