I have a small note book that I have written down positive self-talk statements. I go over them 3 times a day and when I find myself say something unacceptable, I replace it with one of my positive self-talk statements. It really is making a difference. I am seeing the change in me!!

Thank you your tip reminded me of something similar I did for myself back in high school where I kept poems, notes, quotes and other positive statements or thoughts just because I loved the effect it had on me. I believe strongly in positive affirmations and thoughts to keep us all on the higher road. Every positive thought we can come up with for those negative dark times will only help us be better people in the long run.
