It's time to rid your fridge of those holiday yummies if you haven't already. Send them to friends who aren't watching their scales. Keep only the things you can make healthy dishes from. Freeze what you can and save for another day. But above all, get your triggers out of the house! We have another holiday right around the corner and we must be in our best shape! We can do it!

I sit down every Sunday alone and I re-comment to my weight loss goals and challenges. I find new races to enter, I look at my routines via my exercise journal and analyze if I need to increase what I am doing because I am bored or I just need to increase because my body has adjusted.
This helps me because I stay fresh, centered and motivated to do new things and have new goals accomplished week after week.
In October 2011 I was not able to complete a 5K walk that incorporated walking up 1000 steps (the annual Bisbee 1000, AZ). The next day I set out to lose 65 pounds and increase my strength and endurance so I can go back in 2012 and complete the walk. That is my motivation to "train."
I am already registered for the 2012 walk in October and am well on my way to being fit to finish!
