I like to start the day with positive self talk. If I can start the day with a positive thought, I can turn a negative day into a positive day. I will then find energy to exercise. Negative thoughts turn into negative actions. For me it is positive energy that wins the day!!
Thinking in the positive comes naturally to some people. Not I but I discovered AWARENESS was my key to change. As I recognised it in others and thought about the impact of negative I switched my thoughts to positive, I am so happy I did this for me and my family. Seize the moment RECOGNISE NEGATIVE thoughts and get rid of them.
I personally don't think positive thinking is as easy as flipping a switch. But gradual re-shaping from negative thoughts can be made easier. Whenever any negative thought occurs (and you'll soon become aware of just how many you have daily!), immediately counter it with the opposite positive one. That way, your brain will start to get used to the awareness of the sunnier side of life. Reinforce the positive by spending more time thinking of the positive thought.
