I find when I am going through a tough time, I remember this is all but a moment, I re-focus and keep my eyes on the finishing line, each time I take my focus off the negative I gain ground, and keep on track. It is far easier to meet your goals when you stay focused on the finishing line rather on the negative!

Drinking hot tea (no sugar added) instead of soda or energy drinks with my meals kept me on target!
I took out my usual 140 cal soda or carbonated beverages and substituted it with green tea, Yogi slimming tea, and Sleeptime tea (for relaxing). It helped with my food digestion, and w/ no sugar added it cut about 320+ cals off. I also feel more healthy and this works great for the cold seasons!

Journalling is one of the best ways to keep on target. Looking back you see where you came from, that you HAVE made progress & that you're truly moving forward, even when it looks like you're standing still. Besides, you can't eat AND write. :)
