Enjoy your traditions, eat a little of the foods you love and make the rest be healthy. Holidays don't mean stuffing yourself and they don't mean deprivation. It is a time to enjoy family and traditions. Focus on the ones that don't mean food! Don't make the holidays a difficult time, instead find new ways to make them special.
I try not to eat too much, just bites of my favorite unhealthy things and then more of the healthy things. I love the holidays and don't want to make the a chore.
