That is no lie people today have really lost the sense of what spending the holidays with your family really means. it is all to commercialized. I wish we could go back to brown papered packages tied up with string and buying from vendors on the side of the road or making care packages and taking them to your neighbors so they don't have to cook.

Holiday or not it is easy to stay on track and still enjoy everything
Enjoy your traditions, eat a little of the foods you love and make the rest be healthy. Holidays don't mean stuffing yourself and they don't mean deprivation. It is a time to enjoy family and traditions. Focus on the ones that don't mean food! Don't make the holidays a difficult time, instead find new ways to make them special.
