I posted a secret about smoothies and received several questions, so...in response to the green smoothie question: I bought Victoria Boutenko's Book, Green Smoothie Revolution (only around $10) and started trying recipes. When my friends told me about it, all I could think was "gross", but they are really quite good. I start with a mixture of fruits (no dairy or sugar) and ice cubes. I hate vegetables, however since I have started eating greens regularly every morning (green smoothies) my bs has never been lower. I used to be in the 300s now its pretty consistently around 125-155. By filling up on green vegetables the carbs aren't even a concern.
