I push myself and I have been doing it this week. Up early every day and busy from the time my feet hit the floor. Their is so much I want to do and I am trying to help my daughter with her daughter. When I have her everything changes and that is okay but the energy level is dipping lower all the time. I just have to make it to January and see what goes. But, the holidays are here and I want to enjoy them and do decorating, cooking and you know. I will push until I finish till it is all done.

According to the Mayo Clinic, an apple or pear with the skin contains high fiber. Other high fiber sources are raspberries, strawberries, bananas, artichokes, pistachios, pecan, sunflower seeds, and almonds, lima beans, black beans and kidney beans. Oatmeal & oat bran or an Oat Bran Muffin contain soluble fiber and has fiber that binds with fatty acids to make digestion last longer. Brown Rice and Barley are also high Fiber. If a person does not eat enough fiber you might get gassy!
Garbanzo Beans have 6 grams of fiber, and kidney beans have 14 grams and half of the fat. Both are a good source of cholesterol lowering fiber and protein, folate and magnesium. The soluble fiber in kidney beans binds the bile attached with cholesterol in the digestive track which reduces cholesterol. Grapefruit has soluble fiber, potasium and the red varies have beta-carotene. Grapefruit can last 6 to 8 weeks in the fridge. Eat grapefruit 2-3 hours after meds.
Lately I have tried a new technique to focus on my body during strength training sessions. Right now I am doing 6 sets of 5 reps (trying to break yet another plateau) at a slightly higher weight than in the last few weeks. With each rep, I use a motivational word rather than a number that allow me to concentrate on form and strength. Like: health, power, strength, change and worth it. It really brings focus to the activity and the repetativeness makes harder exercises easier to complete!
