It takes 20 min. for the brain to register that it is full, so a half hour before each meal I make sure to drink a 16-20 oz bottle of water thus taking in alot less calories. It also helps to get your daily water intake in!194
My favorite way to curb my appetite is to keep a water bottle with me 24/7. I make taking sips of water an automatic motion. It takes a few days to make this a habit, but if you just take a swallow every few minutes, pretty soon you'll be getting your eight cups a day (and then some!), finding yourself less hungry, losing weight, and purifying your system! I always have trouble with water I just dont like plain water its boring to me. So I treat myself like a child when it comes to water I put a drop of food coloring in it just to add alittle color and make myself think its flavored water :) it may sound silly but it works for me!! Or when Im taking my medicine in the morning I have a rule of drinking a cup of water with it instead of just a sip.
