I kept bemoaning that I didn't actually run or walk ever until I realized those lunch-time errands might help. I used the Fitness Tracker and mapped my route from my building to the CVS and back. I was able to quickly see that going around 2 blocks would make 1 mile.
I feel successful that I am intently walking.
unless an errand or activitty is more than 5 miles roundtrip or I will have to carry more than 10 lbs ( ie: goceries, dry cleaning etc ) either way I do not drive. I walk or jog. I save on gas , help the enviroment and get fit at same time. More fun than walking track.
I track the routes using the fitness tracker. I have used this so often it seems STRANGE and silly to drive to drugstore for prescription or to market for milk '
