I do not have a babysitter so if I want to exercise I need to do so with my two year old in mind. I like to take walks for one hour +. I pull out the stroller, pop out the sippie cup holder and strap on the portable dvd player and off I go. My two year old is happy and now I can walk for 1 hour up to 1 1/2 hours without a fussy baby.

When you slip off track, have a card catalog created to get you back on. Use flash cards and write things to do when you go off track. Pick your usual situations that take you off track, and make a couple cards for each it. (ie: Eat too much, have a card say "that meal is over, start again" or
"Exercise a little more to compensate.
As a single mom, most of our attention is on our kids...and it shows. We feel it too and to be the best mom we can, we have to be at the top of our game. Most of us have lost our beauty, exercise and self love routines over time, but in order to love, we must love ourselves.
When our little ones visit grandma and grandpa, this is the perfect time to re-establish our exercise and better eating routine and our self love routines. This way, when the little ones are back you have already got in the habit. If you go for a run, tack them with you so they learn to exercise.
