I find one way to really motivate myself when I'm feeling lazy is to post a facebook message about what class I'm going to take at the gym that night! I'd hate for someone to ask me about it later and have to admit I was too lazy, tired, etc to go to the class, so this way I force myself to go. And I find it's true what people say: you'll always regret skipping a workout but you never regret doing one!
Some days when I dont feel good or i'm feeling lazy and I already know I'm not gonna do a full work out, I do mini sets of exercises to feel like I at least did something. Every little bit counts. So if i do 15 push ups, my arms and chest are that much more toned than if i skipped a day.
To do nothing at all is a lost day to me. This has been working because When i see results, I wonder what the heck happened! Some times I dont notice how small i'm getting cause I'm so focused on being consistent now. inconsistency is the biggest reason I've never gotten to my goal weight.9
