I am having a BLAST with my new lifestyle!! Finding unique recipes...my new motto is...If it aint pretty i aint eatin it!!! I've been trying to find the most colorful foods and serving myself like a princess on the china, folding my napkin just so...putting parsley on my plate. I'm really having fun with it. I'm trying to think of dieting as a positive and not a negative...and its working.
All I can say is get Creative and be passionate about your life and your health!!!! The power is in positive thought!!!

In order to get 8 glasses a day I add a few slices of apple or cucumber or sprigs of mint to my water. It helps to keep me interested in the water instead of getting bored of the taste. I also drink it through a straw which helps me drink more, faster without realizing. Get lemon wedges at restaurants instead of soda or iced tea and avoid the packets of flavor since there is a lot of added sugar. Keep it natural and experiment!
You can flavor water with pretty much anything - melon, any citrus (I love limes) just get creative for a subtle flavor!
Do something creative. It feels good, takes your mind off food and diet. It makes you feel accomplished. It is a great release of tension. It gives you something to focus on. Music. Art. Writing. What ever you can be creative with.
