I don't know how to describe this frozen dessert. I tried it because Sparkpeople recommended it in an article, but I won't be recommending it to anyone. Sure it's organic, low in fat, sugar and calories (120 per 1/2 cup), but it's missing the creamy texture of ice cream. I prefer Edy's Slow Churned which is actually lower in fat, calories and sugar than the So Be, plus it's creamy! There are other nutritional differences, but in this case I'll go with what tastes better.

Craving a delicious creamy banana split? Try this low fat/low carb alternative: Use one container of Yoplait Light Very Vanilla fat free yogurt, 2 tablespoons of sugar free chocolate syrup, one small banana 1/2 cup fresh, cut strawberries. Place the yogurt in a small dessert dish, surround with banana slices and top with strawberries then garnish with chocolate syrup. MMM MMM GOOD! *Note: if you prefer ice cream consistency, sub yogurt with 1/2 cup Breyer's CarbSmart vanilla frozen dairy dessert
If you're like me then ice cream is one of your biggest weaknesses. After a meal I crave something cold and sweet. I've found that frozen yogurt is a good alternative.... as in, take your Dannon and stick it in the freezer. It comes out rock hard but after about 30 seconds in the microwave it breaks up enough to get a spoon through it. Even better is GoGurt, if you have it, it's like eating a creamy otter pop. You can also make your own popcycles, all you need is a mold and some sticks!
