If you wake up with a sore throat, achy body and are generally feeling punk, listen to your body. Sometimes it is NOT wise to keep up your normal regimen. It's okay to take a day or two off from working out. Take naps if possible or at least go to bed earlier. Drink hot tea with honey & lemon, take vitamin C and eat chicken soup. Your recovery will be faster and you won't infect others, which might result in re-exposing yourself to the 'bug'. You DON'T want 'same song, 2nd dance' with a cold.

Get up an hour early and get moving. You can go to the gym or go for a run...whatever suits you. Try to prep anything you need the night before (pack your gym bag, organize the clothes you're wearing the following day, put out a quick morning snack).
