Are you a reader? Just have to pick up a paperback every now and then when your favorite author has a new book and it's not at the Library?
Do You have a box of read books and don't know what to do with them? Donate them to a Veterans hospital or other hospital in your area. Many patients don't have the resources to buy books, but love to read. By donating books (usually through the hospital's Volunteers), you will be adding a Spark to countless numbers of people. It may Spark your day, too

I store 90% of my shoes in the original boxes that they come in. I always put the sales receipt in with the shoes. If for some reason I need to return them or question how old my workout shoes are, I have the receipt right there. No digging through a mountain of other receipts looking for it. I also have done this with books that I purchase – especially cookbooks – I put the receipt in the back of the book. Sometimes I just want to know how long I have been using that cookbook.
I make myself 'earn' minutes to watch TV or play computer games by exercising. ie, to watch 30 minutes of TV, I need 30 minutes of activity. 'activity' includes household chores, so this gets me moving, limits how much junk I watch, and gives me a dual purpose for using the vacuum.
I started doing this after reading the Mayo Clinic Diet Book, so they get the credit for planting the seed of this.
